Terms and Conditions

Membership Contract and Services

The membership contract and services included are outlined in the membership package chosen by the contract holder. The contract holder acknowledges that this membership is a one-year commitment.

Discount Terms: Upon enrollment, the customer is eligible for a discount that applies exclusively to labor charges. For invoices up to $1,000, the discount will not exceed $100 on the first eligible ticket. For invoices exceeding $1,000, the discount will not exceed $200 on the first eligible ticket.

Payment Processing and Service Activation: The initial recurring payment must be successfully processed for services to commence. The processing period may take between 15 and 30 days, depending on the issuing bank of the payment method. However, if a full year of membership fees are paid upfront, all services become immediately available, and the waiting period is waived.

Oil Changes and Filter Services: Oil changes, air filters, and cabin filters are provided at intervals of every 4,000 miles or 4 months, whichever comes first. If the vehicle exceeds 12,000 miles before the renewal period, additional oil changes will be available at a discounted rate until the annual renewal date, when all services are reset.

Waiting Period for Additional Services: All other services are subject to a 15 to 30 day waiting period for the initial recurring payment to process and clear.

Service Rollover and Reset: Unused services from the previous year will not roll over in the following year. All services will reset annually on the renewal date of the active year.

Exceptions to the Contract:

§  Percentage discounts apply only to labor costs.

§  Additional oil costs may apply if the vehicle requires more than five quarts of oil.

§  A surcharge of $5.99 per month will be added to the plan for special vehicles such as diesel engines, trucks, and European cars.

§  Some specialty oils may incur additional costs at the time of service.

§  Discounts will apply only to additional services purchased within the contract year.

§  Unused services do not carry over to the following year.

§  Add-ons are available at the discretion of CPO Extended Warranty.

§  Additional exceptions may apply, as determined solely by CPO Extended Warranty Management.

It is the responsibility of the contract holder to schedule appointments for services. The contract holder must inform the CPO Extended Warranty representative at the repair shop of the services needed at the time of the appointment. This membership is non-transferable and can only be applied to one VIN number. Additional vehicles require a separate Vehicle Maintenance Membership contract and associated fees.

Set-Up Fees

The initial sign-up fee is $49.99 plus applicable taxes and fees. This is a one-time payment separate from monthly fees and is not applicable to any services or future monthly payments.

Payments

The contract holder of the Vehicle Maintenance Membership Program agrees to a one-year commitment from the date of the first monthly payment. Automatic payments will be charged on the 1st of each month for the duration of the contract. If the contract start date falls before the 20th of the month, the first payment will be applied to the current month. If the start date is on or after the 20th, and no services or discounts have been utilized, the contract may commence on the 1st of the following month.

Monthly payments will be automatically charged through a payment processor selected by CPO Extended Warranty. CPO Extended Warranty does not retain card numbers after they are entered into the system. Should the payment processor change, CPO Extended Warranty will contact the customer via phone, email, or text to update card information.

Services cannot be utilized until at least one monthly payment has been cleared. Monthly payments include the fee determined by the selected package, plus any applicable taxes and fees. These taxes are mandated by the government, and fees are determined by the payment source, not CPO Extended Warranty.

If an account is overdue, services will be suspended until the account is brought current. If a payment is declined or returned due to insufficient funds, a fee of $25.00 will be charged. If the contract goes into default and payments are not received, CPO Extended Warranty reserves the right to collect payment for all used services at full price up to the default date (e.g., oil changes, discounts, alignments, emissions, etc.) and/or the remaining balance of the committed year’s fees. CPO Extended Warranty will attempt to collect payment for up to 60 days before turning the account over to a collection agency of its choosing. All collection and attorney fees will be the responsibility of the defaulting contract holder. There are no refunds for unused services, past payments, or sign-up fees.

Contract Renewals

Each contract will automatically renew for an additional year after the initial term. If a renewal payment is not made within 14 days of the renewal date, a $49.99 renewal fee will be required. If the contract is in good standing at the time of renewal, no additional fees will be charged, and the monthly payments will continue as scheduled. If the contract holder wishes to cancel the contract, they must submit a written cancellation request to CPO Extended Warranty at least 30 days before the contract end date. If the contract holder defaults on the contract after automatic renewal without providing written notice, the payment default rules outlined in the Payment section will apply from the renewal date. If a contract holder utilizes services beyond the first year of the Vehicle Maintenance Membership, the contract becomes non-cancelable.

In the event of a monthly fee increase due to inflation, a CPO Extended Warranty Representative will notify the customer in writing at least 30 days prior to the increase.

Transferable Membership Exceptions

Membership is transferable only under the following conditions:

§  The vehicle associated with the membership has been sold.

§  The vehicle has been deemed a total loss by an insurance company.

In either case, the transfer of membership will only be processed upon receipt of written proof of the sale or total loss from the insurance company. Only the unused services for the current contract year are eligible for transfer. Membership transfers cannot be downgraded but may be upgraded. If an upgrade is made during the transfer, the sign-up fee will be waived.

Membership Cancellation Rights


Members have the right to cancel their Vehicle Maintenance Membership at any time. However, the terms of cancellation and any applicable refunds will depend on the duration of membership and the timing of the cancellation.

Cancellation Process
To initiate the cancellation of your membership, please follow these steps:

Written Request: Submit a written request to cancel your membership, including your name, vehicle vin number, and the reason for cancellation. Requests can be sent via email or postal mail to the addresses listed below.

Cancelation Form: fill out and return the Cancellation Form via email, in person or DocuSign.

Cancellation Fees: If cancellation occurs within 3 days of enrollment, a full refund will be issued. If the cancellation occurs after 3 days, no refund will be issued, and any outstanding payments must be settled as per the membership agreement.

Fees Owed if: The account is past the 3-day cancellation period, the full one-year membership fee will be due as the final bill. Any discounts and services used will be charged at full price for all parts and labor.

Remaining Fees Payment: If a balance is due, the card on file will be charged the full amount based on the cancellation time and agreement. Customers may provide an alternative payment method if they do not wish to charge the remaining balance to the card on file. If the balance is not paid within 30 days of the cancellation effective date, the account will be sent to collections, where a 40% fee and any additional costs will apply.

Refund Policy
Refunds will be processed within 10 business days of the cancellation request being approved if applicable. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used during enrollment.

Membership Termination
The Vehicle Maintenance Membership Program reserves the right to terminate any membership if the terms of service are violated or if the member engages in fraudulent activities.

Changes to the Policy
The Vehicle Maintenance Membership Program reserves the right to modify this cancellation policy at any time. Members will be notified of significant changes via email or through our website.
